Experiencing App Issues?

Written by Carla

While using PlantApp, you may occasionally experience app-specific issues related to plant identification, internet connection, or temporary service availability.

My plant could not be identified

In some cases, PlantApp may not be able to identify a plant successfully. This may happen if:

  • The plant is not available in our database

  • The photo is blurry, dark, or unclear

  • The plant is too far from the camera

  • The image does not clearly show the leaves, flowers, stem, or other important details

For better results, please try taking a clear photo in good lighting and make sure the plant is visible and in focus.

My plant was identified incorrectly

PlantApp uses AI-powered technology to identify plants. While we do our best to provide accurate results, AI-based identification may not always be 100% reliable.

An incorrect result may happen if:

  • The plant is not included in our database

  • The photo quality is low

  • The plant looks similar to another species

  • Important plant details are not clearly visible in the image

We are continuously working to improve our identification accuracy and provide the best possible results.

I see a “No Internet Connection” error

If you receive a “No Internet Connection” error, please check your internet connection and try again.

You can try:

  • Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data

  • Restarting the app

  • Making sure your device has an active internet connection

I see a maintenance or temporary service error

You may see a maintenance or temporary service error if there is a technical issue, if the service is temporarily unavailable, or if several requests are sent in a short period of time.

If you see this message, please try again later. Our team actively monitors these situations and investigates any ongoing service issues as soon as possible.

If the issue continues, please contact our support team at [email protected] and include a screenshot or screen recording of the problem.
